I've led expeditions in Madeira, Pakistan and Nepal and have a masters in International Studies. Overnight Mountain Hut Hike
My favorite hiking trip I offer for visitors to Madeira is the overnight experience. Join me as we take an off-the-beaten-path trail to stay overnight at a mountain hut amidst the mountains. I organize dinner, drinks and we have a good nights sleep in the mountain before another unique trail to descend on a new route in the morning after enjoying the sunrise.

Crossing Madeira
It's possible to cross Madeira in a week and explore all the different trails in one continuous push across the island. I've done it multiple times and know the best routes, places to sleep, and how to make it the best experience possible by tailoring it to your preference regarding route, incline, accommodation, difficulty and scenery.
